I was introduced to iNaturalist in Nov 2014 at a BioBlitz held with the IUCN 'Planetfest' at Sydney Olympic Park. I use it with my daughter, who is 8, and it's a great way for her to learn about how to identify the wonderful plants and animals we see mostly in our local area, in the south of Sydney, Australia.
We are lucky to live near a large national park and I'm hoping we will be able to use this program a lot in coming years.
