I consider myself an outdoor enthusiast. I have always had a full appreciation for nature. When I was young I spent most of my time around water and at a nearby bird sanctuary where I grew up in the Okanagan Region of British Columbia. For the last twenty years I have lived in the Kootenay Region of British Columbia and my passion continues to be nature, especially fish. I have a biological technical diploma and work as a fisheries research technician. Most of my research involves the identification of critical spawning habitat, and the assessment of fish distributions, relative abundance, behaviour, and habitat use here in British Columbia.
