I'm a total novice but interested in a wide variety of topics. My current focus is on fungi and lichen, but enjoy being able to identify flora & fauna when I'm out on a hike. I'm lucky enough to live in a woodsy area (Portola Valley, CA) so spend a lot of time walking and hiking.
