I am interested in too many things, but mainly plants and living things that sit still long enough to be photographed with my cell phone. I am trying to learn to identify the lichens in my vicinity, trickier than I expected when I started! I have no academic credentials but lots of field guides, enthusiasm, and a long history of looking at things. I am imbedded in the area around the northern Shawangunks, in the mid-Hudson region of New York State.
