My name is Elizabeth Berry. I the the current President of Loving Garland Green here in Garland Texas. We are the official stewards of the Garland Community Garden--a nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase the number of people in our community who grow some of the food we eat.

We spread the word of the importance of healthy food and the important role that pollinators play in our lives by hosting events in the garden such as our upcoming Pollinator Bio Blitz Jumpstart tomorrow Oct 1 and by working with our local school children in their school yard gardens.

We support our Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in their efforts to educate the public regarding pollinators and the importance of native plants.
