Marceline grew up in the Netherlands where she studied botany. She found the perfect match when she was able to combine her knowledge of plants with her love for drawing and painting. She has a passion for nature photography as well and has provided photographs for several publications. Besides plants, she is also very interested in birds, butterflies and dragonflies. She leads bird and butterfly walks for the local chapters of the Audubon Society and for Arizona State Parks. She loves to spend time with her husband and 2 grown children. Other hobbies include hiking, kayaking, cooking and traveling.
