What happens to the oddly animal obsessed child when they grow up? They become a biologist, or at least I did. I know my birds (definitely more familiar with the eastern species) but in recent years insects are becoming an obsession as well. But let's be real, I'll spend hours googling any mystery animal to determine what it is, where it lives, life history, favorite color, star sign, etc. etc.
