I am a high school English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Teacher, but I also team teach biology. I have been in love with nature since early childhood. However, I have just recently become an amateur bird watcher this past year. I have been taking pictures and posting them on social media anyway, so I thought that by using iNaturalist my photos and sightings might actually be useful. It is a great way to keep a record of what I've seen, and it is so fun to look for organisms I have never photographed before. One day I will get myself a fancy lens, take photography lessons, and really get into this, but for now I am happy to be learning along the way.
