I love being outdoors and identifying the plants, animals, and insects that surround me ... especially if it involves making a Wild Edible Salad! I currently reside in San Diego, CA, and obtained my California Naturalist Certification through the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden / UC Davis in 2015. I'm a member and Chapter Outings Leader for the Sierra Club's San Diego Chapter, and enjoy hiking/backpacking, stand up paddleboarding, and anything that gets me outdoors.
