I am a botanist/vegetation ecologist working for the Fairfax County Park Authority in northern Virginia. There are still a lot of great things to find in this mecca of suburbia.

My expertise is in vascular plants but I do also love insects, especially Diptera. My goal is to be a top notch naturalist.
