I've been a naturalist and nature photographer since 1947 when a traveling reptile show fascinated me at my junior high school in Ohio. My interests went from herps to birds to the stars and everything in between. After getting my biology degree, I phototracked satellites from a Maui, HI, tracking station during the International Geophysical Year. Then I spent 32 years at the Charles Hayden Planetarium, Museum of Science, Boston. In retirement, I'm currently interested especially in birds, butterflies, and dragonflies. (I should also explain that I like to photograph WWII warbirds!) My photo site is www.flickr.com/photos/warbirdwalt
