Helped organize Ban Ocean Nuclear Dumping (B.O.N.D.)in early 80's, one of three authors/organizers of measure "B" local measure to have County draft local forest practice rules in late 1980's. Wrote Brooktrails comments that challenged Secretary of the Interior process of consideration of Offshore Oil and Gas Lease sale 91 for not including on-shore social/economic impacts, resulted in cancellation of program until NEPA could be changed to require consideration of such impacts on local communities. Ocean protection, Forest Stewardship, riparian zone enhancement programs are all areas of my focus. Renewable Energy issues and the electrification of our transportation systems, also focus of my efforts.
