I grew up in upstate New York and earned an associates degree in Natural Resource Conservation at a college in the Finger lakes area. My bachelor degree in Natural Resource Management came from a small college in southeast Alaska. I spent 15 years in Alaska as the Director of Parks and Recreation for a small city, lived in Mongolia where I taught at an international school, and now live in Chennai, India.
