I photograph the natural world recording things that I find interesting. I try to express the beauty of the thing being photographed, rather than simply making a record. I'm not a scientist, just a person who is fascinated by the natural world.

Additionally, I am a Photographic Research Associate within the East Texas Natural History Collection home based at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. There I'm able to use my craft as a photographer to help students provide photographic documentation to the projects that they are working on.
