Description

Locality: NEW ZEALAND AK, suburb of Saint Johns, University of Auckland Tamaki Campus.

Habitat: Solanum mauritianum. By pond. One of eleven individuals (all adults) observed on one leaf. The species is being reared in the grounds of the Landcare Research building (on the Tamaki Campus) as a biological control agent for Solanum mauritianum.

Identification: Gargaphia decoris Drake, 1931. Male.
