Also known as the Pinnacles Shoulderband Snail, several of these medium-sized snails (about 1/2 inch across) were found among rock piles on a cool misty night. They have very narrow shells with a typical "shoulderband" pattern and a slight flare to the edge of the aperature. Elevation 1280 ft.
Photos were compared to the description and photos in Pilsbry's 1937 monograph and the species ID was confirmed by snail expert Dr. Barry Roth.
