Large Pleurotus on fallen log, 13.5 cm in diameter x 12 cm height, with a dark brown cap, paler at edges and with a "furry centre" as it ages. Gills yellow-cream. Stipe short and fat, about 2.4 cm diameter x 6 mm height. Remnant mature coastal broadleaf forest.
