I think this was a Texas Spiny Lizard, but would like that ID confirmed. Observed around the back porch in a new housing development. Drainage area behind the house has some creek drainage habitat, but all habitat throughout the development has been removed. These houses are built with pesticide dispensers inside the walls. Pesticides are used on a regular basis in this new development and I don't expect that larger lizards will live here much longer.
