At least two different Ephedra's were seen in the Tom Mays unit of Franklin Mts SP. I think I only photographed one of them. This species is characterized by the three-forked branching pattern, the sharply pointed "leaves" (narrow scarious bracts at each joint), and by the pointed tips on the long branches.
