Description

Ph. at a porchlight on a private ranch in the Davis Mts. This may be the widespread Merrick's Pyralid Moth (a misnomer since the species is now placed in the Crambidae), Loxostegopsis merrickalis,

but there are a couple of other species in the genus which are known from West Texas and for which I can only find illustrations of pinned specimens on BOLD, like L. emigralis,
