Description

Zillions of crabbies. The tide was out and the battalion was in! They were advancing slowly across the sand en masse, filtering bits out of the sand as they went, leaving rolled-up sand balls behind them.

In the second photo all the small lumps are crowds of crabs. 3rd photo is a smaller crab, 4th and 5th photos a larger crab. They seemed to be completely mild-mannered and didn't attempt to pinch at all (unless the pinches were so weak I didn't notice them). They weren't very fast about running away, either, though would slowly corkscrew down into the sand and out of sight if harassed.
