Description

This begonia is endemic for the Cleopatra's Needle Mountain Range in Palawan, Philippines. This large pitcher plant is endemic for Palawan and only occurs at higher altitudes in the Cleopatra's Needle Mountain Range. The species is under threat as the whole mountain range remains unprotected. Centre for Sustainability is working with other local partners to try to get the mountain protected.
