The largest of several tall bushes growing around the edge of a neighborhood retention pond. I don't see them elsewhere in the area, so I suspect they were brought in with the construction of the retention pond, along with crape myrtle, pyracantha, callery pear, chinaberry, and chinese elm that I also don't see elsewhere in the wild greenbelt area.
