I was indoors when I spotted this rail. My initial expectation was Eastern Water Rail but it was clearly smaller with a well marked head. It disappeared into the bushes and I have not yet refound it. I took a few frames with a Canon SX50 HS in jpeg mode. One image attached. This is an unusual record and site and probably a migrant bird.
