What

Sea Cauliflower (Leathesia marina)

Observer

Date

May 14, 2014

Description

The Leathesia difformis, or Sea Cauliflower, grows on rocks in small clumps, each about 1 1/2" wide, and near other clumps. These seaweeds were exposed by the minus tide today, and it was a hot day, which may be why they look rather tired.
