What

Intermediate Dogbane (Apocynum × floribundum)

Observer

Description

Petals are not recurved like A. androsaemifolium, but definitely more open and spreading than typical A. cannabinum. Corollas about twice as long as calyx lobes, with very slight pink tinge not obvious in photo. This looks like the Apocynum medium that Peterson and Swink and Wilhelm describe, = Apocynum floribundum in Gleason & Cronquist.
