There are apprently 3 legit species of Zarhipis: Z. integripennis, Z. tiemanni, and Z. truncaticeps. Z. tiemanni has abbreviated, pointed elytra, so it's not that. Z. truncaticeps doesn't seem to have any pics online, but Evans and Hogue describe it as having an abdomen that is black on top, so not that. Evans & Hogue also suggest the last two are more SW desert species.
As Constance pointed out to me when I showed her this pic, you can tell this is a male b/c it looks like a beetle. Females are larviform.
