Snake Days 2017

Observations must be made in the Trans-Pecos Region.
Participant must register for Snake Days and observations must be added to the Herps of Texas Project.

Snake Days Competition Categories:

1. Reptile and Amphibian Diversity
   1st, 2nd and 3rd place with prizes.
   Each observation must be documented using iNaturalist with a “research” grade observation (i.e. property identified, photo or audio vouchered)
   Observations must occur between 12:00 AM on June 22 (Thursday) and 11:59 PM on June 25 (Sunday)
   All observation must be submitted to iNaturalist by Wednesday June 28.

2. Random drawing – Herps, Reptile and Amphibians only
   Any individual contributing 15 or more unique observations to iNaturalist between 12:00 AM June 22 and 5:00 PM June 24 will be entered into a random drawing for a prize. The prize will be awarded during the catered dinner.

3. Random drawing – Non-Herp Wildlife
   A special prize will be awarded by drawing from those individuals which record at least 15 observations of non-herp (reptile and amphibian) wildlife.
   Observations must be submitted to iNaturalist between 12:00 AM June 22 and 5:00 PM June 24 to be entered into a random drawing for a prize. The prize will be awarded during the catered dinner on Saturday evening.
