Where are the NC Eastern Box Turtles?
It has been more than five years now that we have been collecting data about locations of Eastern Box turtles with useful information. Very interesting to see all the turtle carapace patterns! Thanks to all that have been collaborating with this project, and to the ones that have been adding more specific information and data about the the turtles found. It is very helpful.
This project is an addition to a project already started in NC- Where is Waldo? Middle school students have been tracking Eastern Box Turtles at the Lake Raleigh Area in North Carolina for 8 years now. With this project we want to obtain more data of where Eastern Box Turtles are found in North Carolina.
