Thanks, Christopher! We need to wait for his reaction to be sure the imaged individual has been observed in the same place as the reported one.
@choess, it looks like you resolved this flag back in 2017, but for whatever reason our system didn't put the original photo back until today (we had to manually do it). I know it was a while ago, but do you remember if there were error messages when you resolved the flag, or any other weirdness?
@tiwane not that I recall--if it had been something really odd, I probably would have noted it with a comment here, but I can't be sure.

Erwin, if you looked at mhays' profile, you'd see he works for the US Forest Service. The original photo is presumably the one uploaded here, sourced from a Forest Service site: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Polystichum_andersonii.jpg
As a work product of a US government employee, the photo is public domain in any case, but I see no reason not to believe that mhays took it originally.
