eraskin southern lady fern (Athyrium asplenioides)

it looks like POWO lists A. asplenioides as a synonym of Diplazium expansum, while listing A. filix-femina ssp. asplenioides & var. asplenioides as synonyms of A. asplenioides. Seems like quite the tangled web.

Athyrium asplenioides (Michx.) Desv., published 1827, is a valid name for southern lady fern. Athyrium asplenioides Milde, nom. illeg. hom., published 1870, is the synonym of Diplazium expansum. POWO has things right here.

Ahh, my bad. Only one of them came up when I searched for Athyrium asplenioides - guess I should have poked around a bit more. Thanks for the clarification.
