can the taxon 'spermatophytina' be created? It is a monophyletic taxon and combines angio- and gymnosperms, which is sometimes usefuly when giving broad IDs |

Its not easy to alter roots of the tree for branches (like Tracheophytes) where there are many millions of observations. People have suggested eliminating dicots which we've held off on for similar reasons. Maybe if/when we get around to that we can also add this node, but it would have to be scheduled and probably involve down-time so we need to hold off for now
