Please don't add taxa that need to be split off from existing taxa. In this case the existing taxon is Hyla meridionalis - see https://www.inaturalist.org/taxon_framework_relationships/30926
as usual waiting on someone drafting inactive output taxa, the split, and atlases then I'll commit
Or if you can explain the distributions I can do it for you
For now I'm lumping this taxon back into Hyla meridionalis
@loarie, I did not add it myself, I just scrolled through the ungrafted taxa and saw it.
Hyla carthaginiensis is a new species described on 2019 from Tunisia and north-east Algeria. It must be accepted on iNaturalist as it's already accepted on AMPHIBIAWEB.
