Any idea what it should be changed to?

I am not sure, maybe @bouteloua could help us.

It is of horticultural origin, I think, but does now appear as a minor garden escapee in various places.

See also https://www.inaturalist.org/flags/442240, I think there are several other taxa like this but I'm not sure which.

It seems like it's used as a catch-all for Hippeastrum hybrids, and should therefore be swapped back into Hippeastrum.

As @rynxs mention, some people are starting to use it for very different Hippeastrum hybrids. It must be put on the record there was an Amaryllis hybrida Neubert but there is no published Hippeastrum hybridum.

This flag should be unresolved. There doesn't appear to be any reason for the deviation to have been added. As far as I can tell, this taxon does not exist in any capacity.
