Compare the flowers with Cassia leptophylla.
Stamens are the same, curved like an S.
Compare with any Senna flower, it's clearly different, never curved like this. Some Senna have curved stamens, but always like a C, not like an S. (Senna pendula, etc.).
I apologize because I don't know the official definitions, but it seems clear that it is a Cassia and not a Senna.
Many sites consider Senna fistula as a synonym of Cassia fistula:

http://bioinf-applied.charite.de/supertcm/plant_detail.php?botanical_id=BN_4016%20&taxid=
But I'm convinced that the name "Senna fistula" should never have existed at all (this plant is not a Senna).
There is no doubt about the synonymy.
Could it be merged? Else, why?
Senna fistula does not exist in POWO.
Should it be replaced by Cassia fistula?
