I don't think osprey have any poaching threats in the US.

I don't think that they should be obscured since there is no immediate threat to the species.

I'm no ornithologist, but my understanding is that birds are often obscured to protect nesting site locations from disturbance. No idea if this is an issue with Osprey. @joshuagsmith @greglasley, any insights?

Everywhere you go in Florida there are nesting Ospreys...nests are obvious and seen from blocks away...everyone knows where they are and most are built by Audubon Societies, city governments, etc. I don't think people bother them, at least I've not heard of this.
