Ipomoea corymbosa es una sinonimia de Turbina corymbosa, tomando como referencia POWO y Wood, et. al, (2020) A foundation monograph of Ipomoea (Convolvulaceae) in the New World. PhytoKeys 143: 1–823. https://doi.org/10.3897/phytokeys.143.32821 |

@hanly, is there a reason for the deviation or should we follow POWO?
@mftasp Yes, the new monograph: A foundation monograph of Ipomoea (Convolvulaceae) in the New World, exposes T. corymbosa as a synonym for Ipomoea corymbosa, and of course in POWO it is shown the same.
There was an error in what I exposed first but I corrected in the first comment. What I meant is that Turbine corymbosa should be replaced by Ipomoea corymbosa, the latter is the species accepted both by POWO and in the new monograph by Wood et al, (2020). @hanly I remember that change but they had not published the Ipomoea review, now with the document it is clear.
Hi @alexiz, thanks for the clarification, I had interpreted your meaning correctly after reading your comment. I ask because we have a listed deviation.
Here's the proposed swap. I'll leave this up for a few weeks in case anyone wants to chime in: https://www.inaturalist.org/taxon_changes/78160

Anything holding up committing this? https://www.inaturalist.org/taxon_changes/78160
Hi @loarie, no, nothing. I've just been leaving them open for about a month for comment. Not that they generally get any. Anyway I just committed it.
Quise decir: Turbina corymbosa es una sinonimia de Ipomoea corymbosa.
