What becomes of the specimens in iNat recorded from Tabasco, northern Chiapas and SW Campeche? Are they C. tzabcan?
https://www.inaturalist.org/taxon_changes/80388 looks good except Crotalus simus sensu stricto is missing a range - do you have one?
What about that specimen from the eastern slope of the Sierras in Chiapas? https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/46435186
Is that a simus or a tzabcan there?

Hola a todos, es genial esta discusión, muchas gracias @josecamx por la información para ayudar a este nuevo cambio sea incluido en Naturalista, es muy probable que el Dr. @wolfgang_wuster pueda ayudar con el mapa de rango de C. simus ha trabajado con el grupo y me imagino que puede tener una buena idea de ello, me parece que sería genial si es útil aprovechar para que se puedan generar los mapas de rango de C. culminatus y C. tzabcan con lo que puede ayudar a delimitar su área de distribución, claro siempre con la mira de ajustes y posibles cambios en un futuro que puedan mejorar en el conocimiento de la distribución de las especies, que opinas @josecamx, saludos a todos.
Overall this looks good. The difficulty is assigning some of the populations from the contact areas, which weren't sampled by Carbajal-Marquez et al - especially the contact zone between tzabcan, simus and ehecatl in Tabasco, northern Chiapas, much of Campeche, Petén etc.
I think this is ready to commit. The maps may need a bit of a tweak later, but it is ready enough to make the change. There doesn't seem to be any taxonomic disagreement here, just some peripheral population questions.
Quizá para esos apartados donde cuesta trabajo designar algunas poblaciones como lo comenta @wolfgang_wuster me parece que es muy probable que @sonoran y @herpmx pueden brindar algunos punto de vista importantes y probablemente algunas recomendaciones al respecto que puedan ayudar a mejorarlo, totalmente de acuerdo con lo que @sandboa señala, saludos.
