Apterygida albipennis in Dermaptera Species File |

@gernotkunz and @fuerchtegott any strong opinions here?
I don't really mind, but there are more scientific papers with "media" and ten times as many search results on Google than with the albipennis. It's also called A. media in the German red list of Dermaptera. The species was described earlier as Forficula media in 1822 compared to Forficula albipennis in 1825. So I wonder what's the reason for the database to call it differently
Heidi Hopkins at the Dermaptera Species File is very responsive if you want to ask by contacting her through that site
