Papilio demetrius belongs in subgenus Menelaides.

Until recently this was a subspecies of Papilio protenor which is in genus Menelaides.

Papilio hoppo belongs in subgenus Achillides.

Papilio verityi belongs to subgenus Papilio.

Before becoming a full species this was a subspecies of Papilio machaon which is in subgenus Papilio.
