I can assure you that top identifiers of this species would not do it. It's very problematic that there is no so such function on the site, if it would be marked it could be solved privately, but if there is no way to know it gives a way to anonymous vandalism in such form. Like why to spend hours trying to find best photos if someone can mess it up in a minute?
And I don't think that it was observer of these first 3 photos, as this is his worst photos of this species among 8 observations, like which photos would you consider more appropriate, ones that currently used for the taxon from this observation:

Or ones from this observation made on the same day by the same person?

The answer should be obvious not only for the experts.
So I really wonder about motivation.
So for the long time there was a great title photo with two living snails of two different colour morphs, so it was demonstrating variability of this species. Few days back someone deleted it and added some low quality not demonstrative photos. I've spent probably an hour trying to unsuccessfully find that previous photo, but instead I have found several good HQ photos with visible microsculpture, etc, which I was considering to be demonstrative for this species as an expert in the group. Today someone deleted ALL these photos and added some low quality photos of not fresh dirty shell, which is obviously not better than it was and gives no idea how to ID this species. Is there a way to find out who it was and revert it somehow without searching among more than 1500 photos?
