Looks like swap done, and now under Meorinii |
Thanks! Good question! Although paper of Sharkey lab (2011, https://www.researchgate.net/publication/229924422_Molecular_phylogenetics_of_Braconidae_Hymenoptera_Ichneumonoidea_based_on_multiple_nuclear_genes_and_implications_for_classification) support separate subfamily Meteorinae (only paper fastly founded), as buggude also,
but
fauna-eu.org, wiki and russian school's main key support it as tribe Meteorini in Euphorinae.
At least this tribe present in Euphorinae here and contain also Zele genus. Easier to combine it there, and if will needed later just change level of whole tribe.
The main thing is that they are singled out as a separate group, and the higher taxonomic levels are rather relative to the general picture.
Definitely a problem. We have it twice. https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/250222-Meteorus and this one. Do we follow BugGuide for this or something else?
