I'm trying to add these subspecies but iNat has a problem with taxa being named complex it seems and won't save the name properly. For the time being S. f. complex is Sceliphron ssp. fossuliferum because it deleted 'complex' from the name.
Currently looking for solutions.
The problem with "complex" creating difficulties is discussed here: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/species-with-same-name-as-complex-prevents-creation-of-complex-at-the-correct-location/23564. It was said in that forum topic that the issue was fixed. In the event that might not be so it may be worthwhile to re-open that forum topic, or otherwise ask staff or curators. If you learn a solution to this or would like to comment to the forum etc. that would be great, although if not I can comment to the forum or request reopening that topic.
If I'm not mistaken that forum topic is about when a complex and species share the exact same name.
The issue here is that the word complex can't be in the subspecies name.
I've emailed staff about the issue.

Staff is aware of the issue and I guess are waiting to see if any other words cause similar problems.
