Protandrena (Pterosarus) pecki is a junior synonym of Protandrena (Pterosarus) aestivalis. The correct specific epithet for the eastern bare miner is Protandrena (Pterosarus) andrenoides.

We have to differentiate between the taxon/scientific name (most important) and common name, to clarify what you're suggesting. Do you have a source? Although it could be outdated, Discover Life currently lists Protandrena (Pterosarus) pecki as valid.

I'm undertaking a revision of the subgenus Pterosarus under Dr. Gibbs at the University of Manitoba. All specimens under the name pecki currently on iNat are andrenoides.
If you like I can also have him confirm this for you.

I trust it without needing the confirmation. So these results haven't yet been published? Because there were also recent reclassifications made for the tribe in Bossert et al. (2022) publications. So far I swapped P. pecki with andrenoides (https://www.inaturalist.org/taxon_changes/117312).

Some of the other things are still unclear. To be more clear for requests like this, I need to know the statuses in taxonomy, not only how they relate to existing photos (which can be considered after understanding the statuses). Does a species taxon pecki still also exist or is it synonymized with aestivalis or andrenoides? Does anything need to change with aestivalis?

These results have not yet been published, according to my work, pecki is no longer valid and is a synonym of aestivalis.
If the pecki specimens have been swapped with andrenoides no further work is needed right now.
