Swap drafted but not committed. @rfoster You did a swap the other way a couple of years ago, but there was no taxonomic relationship added at the time. Can you take a look?

From memory my main aim was to merge the duplicate records. Not sure why I chose the one to retain but I suspect it was because of the "Complex Potentilla supina" record that is the parent taxon. It makes no sense to have the complex if paradoxa is a subspecies of P. supina. If you want to return it to subspecies level, the "Complex Potentilla supina" record should be deleted since it has no other members. It also seems that the other subspecies recognised by POWO need to be added https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:729071-1#children

I created the "Complex" taxon as at that time P. paradoxa was treated as a separate species at POWO (probably that was also why @rfoster chose that name), and the taxa really needed some name to be grouped under. Certainly it is to be removed if the complex is treated as a single species

Okay, so what should the complex be swapped to? I'm not sure how many bare complex observations will be left once the species swap is done.

The complex record shouldn't need to swapped at all - just deleted.

to the species if that is technically possible
