The Latin name is C americana, and the species can find in Africa? For someone to see this again.

Despite the species name americana, this leaf beetle is native and common to southern Europe, North Africa, the Near East and the Middle East.

There are many other misleading species names like for example Scilla peruviana. This species is native to the Mediterranean Basin and does not occur in Peru.

Many thanks for all, yess, you are right.
This non-logic must be settled one day, I think by the specialists.

This non-logic can't be "settled" because the issue is already settled. The first validly published name is the name, no matter if it's accurate or not. (That's from the Code of Botanical Nomenclature. It keeps scientific names stable. Relatively stable.)

Many thanks for answer. I think, sooner or later the day will come to be changed.
