Thanks, @thomaseverest I had trouble finding the edit button, but I see it now.
@gregschechter Thanks! Just a question, did you only add the status to the US? It also showed up on North America even though that shouldn't be possible for endemic statuses. It looks like that auto-populated but I wanted to double check before making a bug report.
