deviations need to be made for any of them that are to be maintained.
the Palearctic infraspecifics are here seen at subspecies rank, while the ones with a Holarctic modern distribution are at variety rank -- not sure if this should be maintained

I would include the variety (major) and the subspecies (pycnocoma) as supposed!
