There's an observation with U. pubescens so in theory it should be switched to U. diodica ssp. pubescens

Hi @escow. Thanks for picking up on this error. I agree with your conclusions here. POWO accepts only U. dioica ssp. pubescens, so it's preferable to keep that taxon and make U. pubescens the synonym. I'll set up the change now. Thankfully there are very few observation of either one.
I made the taxon change and it appears to have completed successfully. The one observation was updated to the new ID. Thanks for rasing the flag for this @escow. I'll close it our now.

For some reason, both Urtica pubescens and Urtica dioica ssp. pubescens show up in the taxon tree, as if Urtica pubescens (synonym) wasn't replaced for current variant - Urtica dioica ssp. pubescens

I see Urtica galeopsifolia is a synonym for U. diodica ssp. pubescens and it's getting moved but this is not happening for U. pubescens yet
