Summary 2
Native perennial herbaceous species flowering in July through October. Found in fresh marsh and salt marsh communities, but most frequent in the transition zone between the two. Frequent to infrequent and widespread on the island. Most frequent in extensive Fox Hills levels where it forms large colonies.
